ABOUT ME

I’m Charlotte, and my passion is delivering dog training that is force-free, functional and fun. I love helping humans and their best friends build a beautiful bond and learn how to make each other’s lives easier and more enjoyable.

Force free training means:
- creating a safe and supportive learning environment that you and your dog will perform best in
- using the most up to date scientific research in dog training and behaviour to inform my approach
- using positive reinforcement (the things that your dog likes) for motivation and to let them know they’ve done something we like
- no aversives (things that are painful, intimidating or threatening), as they can result in the dog redirecting their frustration, or reacting in an unpredictable and potentially dangerous way due to fear.

I’m qualified (I hold The Open College Network’s Level 3 Certification in Dog Training and Behaviour) and accredited by the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers.

When I’m not training puppies and dogs of all ages and abilities, I’m also a Pet Health Advisor for a large 24/7 animal hospital, so my Canine First Aid is always kept up to date too.
